Yes, there was a non-Camaro IROC once upon a time and it offered FWD. This car was nothing to sneeze at, however, as it offered the Chrysler Turbo III also seen in the Spirit R/T, which was the fastest sedan made in America at the time.
So, this little beast offered about 225HP and similar torque. Even with that, it seems like these might have been a little underrated, given the 5.X-second 0-60MPH times they achieved. Lotus worked on the TIII head, so there may just be a bit of magic involved.
This car is in great shape with reasonable mileage, but it not stock. The seller points out a few minor performance and appearance mods and it has a ‘show level’ audio system installed. You can either keep it all together as a 90s tribute or de-stereo it to get it closer to stock. That’s up to you. Either way, the performance per dollar quotient is high here, even at the $7,500 Buy It Now price. We don’t know if the reserve is much lower…

These are relatively understated for the time.
You can see the aftermarket speakers, but they’re pretty well integrated, leaving the front looking pretty stock.
IROC regalia complete with 80s to early 90s “TWIN CAM TURBO” script.
This won’t lack bass. Be sure to bring your Nemesis CDs. Good news is that cargo cover appears to hide everything, whether from thieves or female coworkers who will accuse you of living in the past.
Here’s what all the fuss is about.

Nice car and they were good drivers on the well sorted chassis. Did not hold value. Priced to high to sell, no enthusiast following. Some, but limited MOPAR enthusiast interest.
I owned this car for nearly 10 years, I built the stereo in it as well. great to see its still together and looks amazing. the Paint looks to be holding up well too. I still have several stock parts from this car if you would like them, please contact me. fast4popper@msn.com
