We’ve featured quite a few pickup conversions (sometimes called Utes as a nod to Ozzies) over the years, but this is one of the most interesting. Not only was this Mini gifted a bed, it was extended substantially and gained two wheels in the process. Dually, you ask? No! An entire axle was added. We suppose this might technically increase payload capacity, but it’s worthy of note that this is still a front-wheel drive vehicle.
It looks like some “interesting” rusts repairs have been made, but someone at least tried to slow the rot. New floor pans are apparently in place, and a rust-free door is included in the sale. Let’s come out and admit it – we love this!
