From time to time, we see shitboxes – often Ford Festivas – chopped and made into pickups. The front-wheel drive setup and rear suspension seem to lend themselves to this. This is the first six-wheeler Festiva we have ever seen, however.
The seller points out that this is one of a kind and the ad claims 42K miles and a manual trans. What’s surprising is that the type of person who would own this would provide so little information on the build and no interior pics! This is supposedly a multiple trophy winner, but we don’t know at what sort of competition or show. Bowling? Curling?
$9K is an insane asking price. Perhaps one could enjoy this and feel like he or she got a good deal at about $3K…

This is unique and, yes, that is a Wisconsin Badger on the door.
The other side is essentially the same – we just wanted another look at it.
From the front, this looks like a stock Festiva, which isn’t a terrible thing. Normally, these make surprisingly good little autocross cars, and the Mazda-sourced engine has hop-up parts available.
This is impossible to identify from the rear. It’s obviously strange, but not obviously a Festiva. It seems this is set up to be a flatbed, which makes is even less useful than the typical shitbox pickup conversion. The Mercedes in the garage seems far to normal.
