For a lot less money, these ‘Vettes offered performance at or near Italian supercars of the day. As an added bonus, the non-performance mods are minimal, offering a slight bit of sleeper quality, to the extent any Corvette can be a sleeper.
This car claims low miles and appears to be in great shape. The open question is whether $29K is remotely reasonable at this point. It’s in line with low-mile, early ZR-1 prices, so maybe it’s not crazy. Should these be as valuable as GM’s own in-house supercars, or do you think they’re worth more? There are legitimate arguments on both sides, but sales through the dealer network put Callaway in a rarified space shared with Shelby and Saleen, among very few others.
