Calling this a pickup is a bit of a stretch, but it does sort-of qualify. What more can we say?
This is our favorite generation of Integra, primarily due to the hideous headlights on the one that followed it. That makes these bizarre mods a bit offensive. Luckily, the end result is entertaining!
The seller claims that “the underside was braced before the top was removed so it has adequate structure.” Do you trust that?
Also, “the only reason I’m selling it is because the seats just don’t mesh with my back.” Chopping the top off a hatchback is no problem, but swapping seats is apparently too much work.

Did we mention the Union Jack on the hood? The seller didn’t, either. Is that a Sterling/Rover reference of some sort?
From this angle, nothing is right. The fact that the rear was cut above the beltline is a particularly nice touch. We guess the remaining hatch piece hinges there.
Yep, that’s the hinge point. The remaining hatch does finish it out some, but this would be more impressive has the owner committed fully to the pickup concept and finished things out.
The seats fold to reveal more ‘pickupness’.
But they can be used if you can convince people to ride with you in this thing.
From this angle, things look essentially stock and normal.
Under the hood, things look stock, which is a good thing.

First & foremost this is not a factory convertible. There is no top. Next in order of importance is the fact that this little car runs and drives amazing. I do not know of any mechanical needs or problem except the abs light is on sometimes. Though I wouldn’t be afraid to drive this anywhere in the country it is still a 24 year old vehicle. It will effortlessly cruise down the highway however you fast you feel like driving. The convertible/truck aspect makes it very handy and usefull. The underside was braced before the top was removed so it has adequate structure. The only reason I’m selling it is because the seats just dont mesh with my back. The leading edge of the seat doesn’t have a lot of support or bolster which I need. If it weren’t for the seats I’d be happy to keep this odd little vehicle a long time. It’s fun and zippy little car with the 5 speed manual. I’ve never checked but I’m sure it gets fantastic fuel mileage as well. With only 107k miles and 1 owner I’m sure there are many years and miles left in it. An aquantance of mine bought the Acura brand new so I have every receipt and maintenance record from new. I also have the owners manual and a shop manual. The paperwok and documentation is extensive. This is a no reserve auction. I just want it to go to someone who will continue to use and enjoy it. This car truly runs and drives great. I was very impressed when I drove it and I think you will be too. For more info call 573-xxx-xxxx. Thanks for lookin.
