Remember when Toyota sold fun cars? Before the WRX, there was the Celica All-Trac, a rally car for the streets. Kinda.
The early-generation ST165 pushed–you didn’t guess it–190 hp through all four wheels. This particular 1988 example enjoys a low-mileage JDM Caldina engine, which appears to be the Generation 4.2 “grey top.” 260 hp, now.
Then there’s the mods, described in solid detail, the surprisingly typical fingerprint of an Alltrac seller. Even a thumb glimpse is included!
Alltrac enthusiasts (Bueller?) might find the massive black hood scoop feeding fresh air to the top-mount intercooler a bit garish.
It’s currently the sole Celica All-Trac on LA craigslist. But other Toyota treasures abound. I know you want a Camry with drift potential…
Thanks to an Oddimotive reader–and All-Trac owner–for the horsepower corrections.
