The enormously exciting Olds Trofeo was a mid-1987 release, and the seller of this Toronado with FE3 handling package points out that this ’87 model has “pre-Trofeo” body styling. That’s important.
Personally, I always called Toronodos “Tornados” when they were common sights on the 1980s roads. Of course, I grew up in Oklahoma, so I thought about tornadoes more than many people. This 1987 model is the fourth generation, which launched in 1986 and suffered (or benefited from?) significant shrinkage versus its predecessors.
This is your basic FWD, 3.8 liter V6-powered GM product. What’s interesting here is the 32K original claimed miles. If you really want one of these and must have the pre-Trofeo styling, this is probably the car to get.
