Amazingly 70s Custom Corvette

This might just be the most 70s Vette ever – at least among those NOT used in Corvette Summer with Mark Hamill.

Let’s see:

Bass boat flake paint? Check
Velour? Check!
Cragar SS wheels? Check!
Side pipes? Oh, hell yeah!
Desert scenes? Yep!

Under it all is a 454/4-speed Vette, which is not a bad thing. The seller claims this last ran in 2004 and says it needs a rebuild, but we don’t know why. The seller is bold enough to claim this could be a $150K show car with minimal investment. We don’t see it, but we do think it’s oddly cool and a great time capsule.

Anyone thinking about this should see it in person to get a feel for any frame rust or mechanical issues. It would be pretty awesome to drive cosmetically as-is with only the mechanical bits fixed up; but not anywhere hear the $30K ask. The seller is taking bids, however, so you can be bold, too!

This is an interesting custom, what with the exposed lamps. It’s actually an interesting look, though quite derivative.

Rear has a nice, integrated spoiler. Paint is peeling off, though. Note that the seller claims that the rear window has an etched desert scene!

How about a desert scene on velour? It doesn’t get much better.

Naturally, under-hood graphics are included. Note that two four barrels on the 454. When up and running, this should be a goer.
