This one uses a Suzuki Hayabusa engine. Some might question a motorcycle engine in a car, but this thing should make at least 150HP if it’s in stock form. That’s damn near 100HP more than the lowest-rated Festiva and this one now offers RWD. Also, we wonder how much less this now weighs. In any case, this thing should be fun if it’s been put together well.
The photos seem to show a pretty well-done car. It must be interesting with no reverse, regardless of what it weighs. Of course, the price is insanely high for someone’s homemade toy…

02/19/2014 update: Ended with no bids, relisted at$19.5K with same result.
This looks borderline normal from this angle.
Interior is all business. Ducting from roof scoop is certainly interesting.
And…there it is!
Fuel cell and battery now occupy the former engine compartment.

Sounds very similar to the cars used in the Disney stunt show: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lights,_Motors,_Action!_Extreme_Stunt_Show
However, they get 4 reverse gears. 🙂
Good catch!
