I, your humble host, am just old enough to barely remember the Freedom Train visiting Tulsa, Oklahoma and bringing with it Spirit of ’76 decals and other trinkets. It was all the rage at that time, or at least it’s all I remember. From time to time a Bicentennial Edition vehicle pops up and the memories come rushing back. It’s even better when said vehicle is a (creepy) van!

This is a awesome from every angle. Note the air dam, which is reminiscent of the B.A. Baracus’ van in the A-Team. This is the correct model, after all.
Front end is all A-Team and hides the van’s Bicentennial nature.
Okay, back to the good stuff – the American flag motif is absolutely classic and the small, creepy windows are pure van awesomeness.
Rear widows treatment may be the best feature, especially with the wrap-around flag graphic.
Freedom ’76, b!tches!
Uh-oh, just Freedom here – the ’76 wore off.
Here’s our first look inside. Yes, the shag carpet you expected is present in a lovely blue. Note the white upholstery on the swiveling seat, too.
The color theme continues throughout with lots of white vinyl and lots of blue shag. Note the dim interior due to small, creepy windows and fancy curtains.
You’re damn right there’s a dentist’s sink in there! How many lines of coke were done on this table?
We included this shot to show the extra shag over the driver and front passenger.
How about one last look at the faux wood grain dash. Only a bit of shag is visible here, so things look borderline normal.
