Do you want four doors to go with your fire hazard? If so, this car is just the ticket!
This is essentially a Biturbo with four doors, but the 430 was the ultimate evolution of each, which means maximum output and various improvements over the years that reduced the fire risk usually associated with the Biturbo.
As a prestige brand, Maserati is nice enough to have a model history on their web site, including a complete spec list. Short version: 225HP in a car weighing about 3,200 pounds results in a rated 0-60 MPH time of 6.0 seconds.
We think this is a cool piece of history and has a cool sleeper factor even beyond that of the Biturbo. This example appears to be in great shape and has the correct transmission, so we like it. 128K miles may not seem low, but the fact that the car has been used some may make this a better choice vs. an ultra-low mileage car. It appears there is no reserve on this car, so the market will speak! Keith Martin’s Collector Car Price Tracker shows

The Maserati corporate web site states that all in all between 1987 and 1994 a mere 995 cars were built making this a rare automobile. For those new to the 430, the differences between it and the biturbo are numerous and worth looking up, the high lights being 0 to 60 of under 6.0 seconds in USA trim, fuel injected V6, twin turbo, twin inter cooled, with power steering, upgraded interior and refinement, with top speed over 143 miles per hour.
