Okay, this poor car has suffered through some tasteless ‘upgrading’. I’m tempted to say it should be put out of its misery, but I feel someone should save it. Of course, the ad provides so little detail that it’s not even clear whether the specs make it worth saving.
There’s so much wrong here that it’s hard to know where to begin. Someone decided a ‘black gold’ theme made sense on a ’70 Mustang. I disagree – keep it on the 280ZX and various John Player specials. Square headlights? Really?

Yes, this car has square headlights wedged in where round ones should be. Also, yes, the bumpers are painted gold.
The theme continues. I don’t really like spoilers on hardtops, either.
Note the lack of a “351” badge under the Mustang script. The best this could be is a 302 car, as I think the 428 would have had a badge on the scoop (?).

The interior is a different sort of mess. This is clearly a non-AC car, but I have no idea what engine, so it’s hard to know whether it’s worth saving.
