Rough Morris Dormobile
We’ve vaguely heard of the Morris J2 and J4 commercial vans, but confess never having seen nor heard of the Dormobile variant. Today’s example is very rough, but complete enough to largely serve as its own template for restoration.

1964 Auto Union (DKW) F1000 Diesel
Among oddball European van fans (all six of us), the DKW Schnellaster is fairly well known. What isn’t widely known in the US is that a lot were produced in Spain and the Spanish DKW subsidiary went on to produce a successor. That successor is today’s feature.

“The Anomaly”: Home-Built Hot Rod
Here we have a home-built hot rod with parts from a 1950s International pickup, Jeep mail truck, 1960s Mercedes and Chevy S-10. I’m sure I missed something, but, regardless, the end result is unique.

Reliably Weird: 1985 Toyota Van Pickup Conversion
We’ve featured our share of van to truck conversions, but haven’t previously encountered one based on the creatively named 1980s “Toyota Van.” This seems like a winning combination of weirdness and reliability.

Viper-Based Hot Rod
Not too long ago, we featured a hot rod made by partially dismantling a 1986 Corvette. Today’s feature is similar, but started with a 1994 Dodge Viper and ended with custom fiberglass bodywork.

Hideously Modified Corvair Greenbrier Van
We’re big fans of the Corvair – especially the less common body types, which means we usually love the Greenbrier van. This one has some unfortunate modifications, but might be salvageable at the right price.

Custom Jeep Renegade Comanche Replica
For its annual Easter parade of awesomeness (the Easter Safari), Jeep created a Renegade-based Comanche pickup, which was revealed in 2016. Today’s feature is a replica, which appears to be well done.

Sightings: Newport Beach, CA July 6, 2017
I went to Newport Beach for a Duffy Boat ride and was rewarded with a few odd sightings – all in one parking lot. This gem speaks mostly for itself, but we first noticed the Pep Boys hood scoops and the body side molding used on the hood, as well as the horrid decal work…
