Creepy van #2103484

This is the best creepy 70s van we’ve seen in a while.

The seller even claims relatively low miles and it has the top Mopar van engine from ’78, the 360.

Venice, CA (therefore there’s a good chance someone has lived in this…)
$2,700

Damn, this paint job rocks!  Seriously, who thought up these things and how has it survived without a MAACO paint job somewhere along the line?  Air dam and visor are excellent add-ons.

Cab area appears to be in good enough shape and there’s just a hint of shag carpet on the door, which entices one into the rear of the van.

We can’t see the floors, but must presume there’s plenty more shag, given it creeps its way toward the tufted vinyl headliner.  Wood paneling is a huge bonus, along with the ‘modern’ cushion fabric, which might be more 80s than 70s.

This van is in great running condition. It has 98,000 miles on it and its a 1978. 360 engine, radio with tape deck, CB radio. The guy I bought it from says A/C just needs recharged but I never tried so don’t know about that. I bought it from a grandfather who used to take his grandkids on family trips in it. It had been sitting for awhile, so when I got it there were some kinks to work out. . . I got new tires, brakes, and there was an issue with the gas leaking b/c some foam thing had disintegrated. But the sitting kinks have been worked out, and I haven’t had any issues. The interior is in great condition! All the lights work and most of them are LED so they don’t drain the battery if you want them on with accessory.

The inside looks a little different from the pic b/c i changed the curtains. The ones in the pic were falling apart. I also took out the table, but it is in storage and I could easily get it for you. But the interior is in great condition! There is a shelf between the windows on the driver side and under the seats in the back is storage space. Also, that table area is easily made into a bed. The exterior could use a paint job, but I like it 🙂 There is some rust around the top rim, which is typical of vans from that time, but there is not rust underneath. . . I just had a guy check it.

Selling b/c I’m looking for a RV type vehicle for travel.
I needed a vehicle that fit within the Venice overnight parking laws. . . less than 22 ft. long and 7 ft. tall. . . but thats no longer an issue for me. . . but if you live in Venice its an added bonus as you can park anywhere overnight with no issues.
