For its annual Easter parade of awesomeness (the Easter Safari), Jeep created a Renegade-based Comanche pickup, which was revealed in 2016. Today’s feature is a replica, which appears to be well done.
The end result here is very little cab space, but a decent bed and four-wheel-drive capability. If you think a Subaru Baja is biased too much toward interior space, this could be the ride for you.
Underneath it all is a 2015 Renegade with a little under 17K miles. The current bid of $20K hasn’t met reserve, so we assume the seller is trying to recover the total investment. We’ll see how that goes. One concern is that the title is listed as “Rebuilt, Rebuildable & Reconstructed.” We don’t know whether that means this was wrecked before being rebuilt or was required due to the custom work. If you know Florida titles, you may be able to determine that this is not an issue at all. Even if it was wrecked and rebuilt, it’s possible that’s fine, too – we might ask for an alignment check, though.
