We featured this car in our coverage of June 8th Irvine Cars and Coffee. It’s not at all surprising to see something parked prominently at that event for sale within weeks. What’s funny here is that we’re still not sure what it is.
There’s mention of a Fiat title and Honda power (from what?). There is a claim that the ‘frame’ has been customized, but what was it to begin with? Regardless, it’s certainly interesting, but how do you put a value on someone’s homemade project with so little background?

07/16/2013 update: Seller lowered the price a few times and this ended unsold at $13,900.
07/19/2013 update: It’s listed again with a lower starting price and no reserve, so the market will speak.
08/01/2013 update: SOLD for $6,900 with 12 bids.
We remember these bubbles from seeing the car in person. The seller does point them out in the text. From a distance and in person, they almost looked like dents/hail damage. This picture does them more justice.

This car will also come with the helmet pictured. Please keep in mind that it took upwards of 40,000 dollars to build this car and a number of years. I have detailed pics of the build if you need to see it. Its quite something. I welcome any questions you may have. And yes its insurable in fact State Farm is insuring it for me currently.
