Here we have a 1977 VW Bus which has been chopped into something of an open truck. Clearly – and not shockingly – this is a surf-themed vehicle. The presence of a cage implies some level of structural rigidity, which is a welcome sight. The seller claims very few miles on a freshly built 2.0 engine, which is good news.

Side-mount surfboard rack looks like it belongs on a beach cruiser bike. We also wonder whether the driver’s door opens and whether any form of top is available.

Here’s the interior, such as it is. The seller points out that marine materials were used, which probably answers our top question.

Things are borderline normal from this angle, but one must wonder how those doors work, given they’d normally slide on top-mounted tracks.

The answer is that they are giant, hinged doors!

Cockpit materials look mostly new and they carry on the color scheme. Hurst t-handle is a nice touch, too.
