Looking for a great straight body, rust free, surf ready wagon? Look not further, this 1960 Rambler wagon has you covered.
Built in 1960 this Rambler is decked out with all the chrome body trim, light housings, solid wrap around front and rear bumpers,all in great condition along with new taillight lenses to bring it back to life. The tailgate is a unique slit design allowing for just the top glass to open, or the bottom as well to create a perfect seat for two. Did I mention that she is rust free?
All original Dash and interior, steering wheel is lovely but is missing the center horn, The seats are green bench seats front and rear, also the folding rear seats allow for a tremendous amount of cargo room, to top off the interior there is a Lockler shifter added the perfect touch, and is awesome to use!
The drivers side mirror from factory, was not in a sufficient enough location so was relocated high on the drivers door, making for a great visibility upgrade. The OEM chrome roofrack is in great shape as well and is a viable place to store lots of goodies!
The engine bay has gone threw a full Fresh rebuild Chevy 153 nova motor, complete with a new cooling system, custom motor mounts. Car comes with 153ci correct carburetor along with 1 spare, the transmission was not forgotten, with its new 2 speed power glide, this combo makes for a super smooth power delivery for great beach cruising or floating down main street. A brand new drive shaft courtesy of Drivelines Inc. to complete the drive-train overhaul. Wheels and tires are in great shape and have been color matched to in the interior along with 2 sets of hubcaps to provide a great look. The chassis is all intact, with no rust. The troubled floor pans were replaced to keep this rambler on roads for many many more years.
The paint is primer at the moment, waiting for whatever color the next owner desires. It also comes with a handful of extras for the interior, etc.. just to much to mention.
