I love the idea of a Nissan SR20DE engine in a ’67 Datsun roadster. Why not take a highly regarded car and add a high-revving 2.0-liter four? I don’t love the idea of taking on someone else’s incomplete project.
This project is not for the faint of heart, but an installed engine that starts, along with mounted fuel cell and battery, mean some major work was done. Of course, it’s not clear whether the hood, doors or fenders are available. Any consideration of this car should involve some long conversations with the seller and a complete inventory of parts. If all is well, this might be a pretty good deal.

I do see some sort of dash insert on the rear deck – that’s a good sign.
I don’t think Nissan offered a ‘green top’ SR20DE, but I could be wrong.
Can you decipher this wiring?
Fuel cell and battery are mounted in the trunk, as they should be in a car like this.
