Recently, we posted a 1980s Celica in okay condition. Here’s the original – a 1976 Celica GT that appears to be in great shape.
The seller provides quite a bit of info, which is always nice. The claimed mileage is 63K miles, which is amazing, but the interior condition seems to back it up. Two drawbacks exist here – one is it’s a 1976, which means it does have to be smogged. That shouldn’t be a real issue, as this car is nice enough that you should not be considering an engine swap. Second is the “really just a feeler” wording in the ad. Is it really for sale?
Is $7,500 even close to reasonable? Maybe, but the rust in the wheel well calls the price into question. Japanese classics have been on the rise, though…
