Forbidden Fruit: Peugeot 406 Coupe V6

This was one of my favorite cars to spot when living in France.  It’s cool to see one in North America, but there’s pretty much no way to drive this legally in the US…too bad, as the Pininfarina styling is really cool.  This one proudly wears a good 90s color, too.  The only problem here is the lack of a clutch pedal.

Though a bit smaller, this always seemed a bit like the French Thunderbird – personal luxury without a luxury badge.

Ronin fans will remember the 406 sedan, which looks very similar from the rear.

Interior is nice, and the contrast treatment works well here.

Yes, the PRV V6 lived for a LONG time in may vehicles.
