Do we really need to add anything to that?
Okay, we will. This would be right at home moving cheese around Alsace, but it has apparently been lived in somewhere in Northern California and may or may not have been an early version of a food truck. In any case, we’ll bet this has something to do with French hippies, which is cool in and of itself.
The seller isn’t sure the frame is good, so this vehicle is only for the truly brave. Here’s the quote from the seller:
“If you are the world’s most talented retired fabricator, this is the deal for you!”

This appears to be the big brother to the egg van in Good Morning Vietnam.
Hmm. Well, there’s something of an interior there.
Lived in, or used to serve others? Does it matter?
Apparently, there’s an engine in there somewhere.

I am in NorCal zip 95490. You will need a trailer, or I will help arrange transport.
I don’t have to tell you how hard it is to find an H Van in the USA, do I?
The good news is that it’s here, in California, where it has been for nearly 25 years, and it runs well.
The bad news is the rust, it may, in fact be terminal. The body is repairable, in my estimation, the chassis, I don’t know. If you are the world’s most talented retired fabricator, this is the deal for you! I am showing you the rust to give you a sense of how it is, but don’t assume that you have seen it all.
Charge light on, so needs a bit of electrical.
There is a spare transaxle (which could be available separately), orig, jack, crank, a spare wheel, and full D lux hippie campmobile interior.
Good title, released by previous owner, reg expired 6/2013, so some, minimal back fees if it stays in CA.
Open to offers.

Might trade. It needs to be unusual, ’30s to ’60s (generally), and probably European. No boats, 215, or firearms. eg Alfa, Morris, Lancia, Panhard, Microcar, BSA Victor, Heinkel, Divco, etc
Thanks, Alan
