Here we have a homemade Jeepish thing with only two-wheel drive. Hmm. The seller claims this will go 55 MPH, but we wonder if we’d be brave enough to try! The engine is listed as an “Anon” two-cylinder, but we imagine that means it’s an Onan.
The scariest thing here is that the seller says this vehicle needs work, but gives essentially no detail as to what vehicles or implements donated parts to build it in the first place. Regardless, we imagine anyone buying this is a first-rate tinkerer and we’d hope they would get four-wheel drive under this thing one way or another.
Want to own serial #00000000000000001 of a vehicle? Here’s your chance! We wonder how a $300 bid would go over with the seller…

01/14/2014 update: Ended unsold. Relisted at $4K (it got better?) and ended unsold again.
Clearly, there is some sort of suspension present. Where’d it come from?
Blur adds to the mystique (not a Mercury, this time).
Rear engine?
Does the salad bowl of parts come with it? You might need those…
A radio was an interesting choice for a homebrew, slow vehicle.
There’s clearly no battery, which is fine, but we wonder about miscellaneous drive pulleys.

Looks like the front suspension, steering wheel and pedals came from a VW bug.
The mash-up of pulleys includes the centrifugal clutch.
