Talk the seller down the $500 or less and you’re just about good to go Lemons racing with a V6 and 4-speed. Actually, you might get credit for the roll cage, as safety equipment isn’t supposed to be included in the Lemons $500 limit…hmm. We’re not sure there’s a cheaper way to get one of the cars from the January 1993 issue of Car and Driver.

What could be better than the performance version of the Chevy Citation?
There’s some sort of cage…not sure how sturdy.

1982 Chevy Citation X-11: 2.8 V6, 4spd, p/s,p/b. sunroof, tilt. 51,000 ORIGINAL miles, unfinished race car project. Open headers, holley 4bbl carb, accel ignition, NOS hook up, roll cage. Awesome body and paint, few surface spots of rust, nice interior…..garage kept. Rock out with the Alpine sound system from the 80’s! Runs good, needs a good tune up exhaust, and to be driven. Would make a great cruiser or drag project!
