McLaren F1 Seating on a Budget with Thai Memories Thrown In

If you’ve ever been to Southeast Asia, or perhaps India, you know what a Tuk Tuk is.  For me, this brings back honeymoon memories!

These are ubiquitous taxis in certain parts of the world and riding in them is an experience unto itself.  This is your big change to join in the fun!

This one’s in Canada, though we don’t know why.  Claimed mileage is 250, but the condition of engine shouldn’t be too much of a concern, as you can rebuild it on your kitchen counter in ten minutes.

The seller references Bajaj in the ad.  That is one Indian builder, but it’s also the general term for this type of vehicle; so it’s not clear who made this.  As these don’t show up in North America very often, it’s hard to put a price on this, but $3,900 isn’t terrible for any working vehicle with no rust.  What would YOU do with this?

Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
$3,900 with ZERO bids, 6.5 days to go and reserve not met

This is classic Tuk Tuk styling AND it’s brown!

Top is in better shape than most active service Tuk Tuks in Thailand.

Interior is, well, functional.  It does appear to be in good shape.  The driver sits in front with two to three passengers behind – similar to a McLaren F1.

Here’s another shot with the full back seat.  Does it have LATCH?

Here’s the engine compartment, which is under the rear seat and contains the single piston engine.  As with the Yugo and some Citroen products, the spare tire/wheel is stored in the engine compartment, too.
