We love the W109 6.3L Mercedes. This is everything a sleeper should be – truly a muscle car hiding as a luxury sedan. Some day, your humble host WILL own one and the good news here is that the price of entry isn’t (yet) horrible. Repairs, on the other hand, could be interesting, to say the least.
There is an interesting bonus feature with this particular car – something we forgot about years ago. We’ll get to that down in the photo section. Meanwhile, this looks like a clean example and is claimed to have just over 100K miles. What’s up with the aftermarket wheels, you ask? We’ll get to that in a minute.

$10,500 with reserve not met and ZERO bids

Update: Ended at $10,700 with reserve not met and 3 bids. This seems like it could have been a deal, but we don’t know the reserve. The car is still for sale on the dealer’s site, but without a listed price.
Subtle 6.3 badging rocks!
Interior looks clean, but we’re not sure what that audio source is. It’s a Craig product of some sort.
Normally, this pic of the 6.3L SOHC V8 would be the money shot, but you’ll see why it’s not when you get to the next image.
Here’s the money shot. Yes, this car has TWINTIRES! Anyone who read car magazines in the 90s must vaguely remember these… Where on earth does one get replacements today??? Thankfully, the selling dealer claims to have the original wheels available.
