Here’s a rare-in-US 1969 Nissan Patrol with needs.
These are hard to find in any condition. When they do come along, they’ve often been sitting outside at a farm for decades and have rust issues. So, the Long Beach location indicates this MAY be a good one.
The seller says it needs a battery, but says “bring a tow truck”, rather than “bring a battery.” Perhaps the missing seats and expired tags are among the reasons it shouldn’t be driven home. The asking price is low here, but you’ll want to find out a lot more about this before plunking down cash.
If it’s all there, though, this truck has a lot of potential.

Aftermarket wheels and oversized tires indicate this one lived in town, rather than on a farm. Obviously, it’s in primer, but body condition is hard to gauge from the pics.
Things don’t look too bad here – spare tire carrier is even in place. One of the doors shows a little patina.
At $1,200, this could have been a rolling shell, but the inline six is present. One should at least try turning it to see if it’s seized. We’re not sure what’s up with the wiring mess waiting to get sucked into the fan.
