We see some mulletude in this car. The front looks like a typical shitbox Omni, but the back is another story. The end result of chopping the top of an Omni and welding or bolting in a cage is strange, and that’s what we love it. Keep in mind the fact that shitbox is a term of endearment.
We suppose most will be glad a GLH or GLHS wasn’t sacrificed and we feel you there; but we’d love to see turbo power in this little oddity. As it sits, it’s a four-speed car claimed to run well and with 57K miles listed in the ad. That sounds like under-utilization, so we’ll hope it’s 157K. Maybe that would get us closer to justify swapping in some more power…

$2.75 with four bids, 5.5 days to go and no reserve!
You can still see the Omni in this, but not all is well. We do like how the “cage” initially follows the pillar angle at the rear.
Down low, things look pretty benign. We wonder how/whether those rear doors work now.
Up front, it’s just a redded-out Omni.
This is something of a money shot.
Are these typical Omni seats? They look a bit sporty.
Yes, the rear seat is still present.
You didn’t really want a tach, did you?
Here’s the plain Jane 1.6 liter four in all its glory.
