Yes, folks, MG did put its name on something other than sports cars – even in the 60s. I say “put its name on” because, by this time, essentially the same car was sold by multiple MG brands. This is one of them. With all the brands combined, this was the best selling car in the UK at one time.
I don’t think the seller’s first language is English, or at least this is one of the most ‘stream of consciousness’ ads ever. Though I don’t claim to understand this ad completely, I gather that this example has claimed one-family ownership, or at least one family from very early. It has been sitting since 1978 – probably before many of our readers were born. The carbs might have already been rebuilt, but just need setup/tuning? Well, given all the questions, at least the asking price is cheap. Maybe you can get it for $1,000 or so?

up for sale is my 1967 mg 1100 out of my collection. this car is smaller than it looks but bigger interior than you think. car has original 11,K miles. this vehicle originates from Long Beach California I belong to a female college student in my family. vehicles been sitting since She moved out of state in 1978. that was also the last year it was registered nobody ever touched the vehicle Till I came in possession of it.interior is in OK condition need some – carpeting, both front lower seat vinyl has tears. backseat in OK condition. headliner In tact. exterior= has dent by front grill area minimal scratches here and there but no major body work, no rust, in good conditions. all glass is intact and unmolested in good condition. now for the bad part. clutch cylinder brake lines master cylinder fuel lines excetera need to be gone through cleaned or replaced. vehicle does run Bernese carburetor rebuild I don’t know how to do that this vehicle does carry the dual carb 1100 CC setup. heard they can be difficult to tune. I have all four hubcaps car is intact and complete and ready to be restored by someone who appreciates it or a MG enthusiasts.
