The seller claims this first-gen Prelude convertible is one of a kind, but I remember seeing one or two of these back in the day. As such, there must have been at least one “coachbuilder” churning these out. Regardless, it’s cool to see any first-gen Prelude, these days, and the can opener job on the roof adds to the mystique, if not the driving dynamics.
120K miles is nothing on a Honda, so, if this really does run and drive well, $2,300 is not a lot for such a cool little oddity. I’d plan to test drive first, however, to find out just how noodly the handling is. I do rather like the color combination, too.
