Some may remember the Ramcharger, which was Chrysler’s Bronco and Blazer competitor for a number fo years. But, do you remember the equivalent Plymouth Trailduster? Most don’t.
It’ll be that way soon with the Chrysler Aspen. We guess “Duster” was brought in because it was already a “successful” Plymouth model name, even though the Duster was just a modified Valiant. So, there’s one identity crisis for this truck. Chrysler must have been okay with that, given the Ramcharger name was, itself, a combination of two Dodge product names.
We think this truck has potential, but the lack of effort to pull tarps for ad images makes us worry. We always thought a built Ramcharger would be a cool Bronco/Blazer alternative, but the Trailduster is even weirder (read: better).

We’re not sure, but the fender might be from a Dodge Ram 100 pickup. Could be wrong on that.
