The last Type 3 we featured was a pickup conversion. Frankly, this has real potential if the rust-free claims hold true (despite the gaping hole in the roof). Sitll, one must wonder how, exactly, it got to this state.
The ad gives no indication as to whether any engine or transaxle is included…that’s always nice. Still, it’s a VW, so not exactly hard to source, but it would be nice to know how much of a project this really is.

Finding any sort of all-weather solution for the ‘sunroof’ might be an interesting task.
IT does appear to have gauges and obligatory Grant GT wheel.

I am selling my 1969 super custom Volkswagen Squareback project. The car has had the post between the rear side windows removed and one piece “california glass” installed. The front fenders have been modified to install early beetle headlights in it. It has had a huge sunroof grafted in. This is the start of a very cool one of a kind Squareback. THE PAN IS PERFECT. THE CAR HAS NO RUST ISSUES. Just waiting for someone to finish it.
