Rare in US: BMW E30 wagon!

Here at Oddimotive, we love E30 BMWs.  I, your host, once had a 1988 325ic in the household fleet and thoroughly enjoyed it, although I’d prefer a coupe if I was daily driving it.  Here we have a body style never offered in the US, the Touring (AKA wagon) variant.  The seller says this is a 325, but we’re pretty sure it is a 325i, with the higher-reving 2.5L I6 and the 325/325e “ETA” 2.7L, low-rev engine.  Interestingly, the larger-displacement I6 E30s are the lower-performing ones…

This example appears to have some mods but, considering it’s a grey market car, astonishingly little information is available in the ad.  We have to assume it has a clutch pedal, or else the deal is off.

Still, if you like (or can get past) the green paint, this one’s worth a call to find out miles, etc.  We could live with the green, but would likely ‘undo’ the yellow headlights, given the exterior color.  In an ideal world, we’d find a nice, stock RoyalBlau one like the one on Wheeler Dealers.

The price is high here, but we dare you to go find another Touring in the US…
