Seller: “I Don’t What This Is, But I Know What It’s Worth”

The seller here has no idea what this is, but that he or she knows it’s worth more than offers received to date.  How did the seller end up with a mystery, you ask?  “I bought the property the vehicle came with it in the backyard.”

What do you think this is?  The seller rambles, but provides no useful info which might help identify this car.  Obviously, this is a major project and we must assume it is not running.  The images appear to reveal a small block Ford, so that’s about all we know.

We recommend reading the ad text, which is one, giant run-on “paragraph.”  A few select quotes (sic erat scriptum):

“in one word funky man really funky”

“I think this is it,if you want to park it in your driveway and feel that you have something awesome like no one else will never have because this is one of a kind I don’t know how much is really worth but it’s worth at least $6500 this is awesome unique this is something only somebody who love to be cool,in a badass muscle car.”

“$6,500 and this vehicle is yours and you will be the envy of all the guys at every car show at every event every where you go because there will be jealous. they could never have one like this, nices!!!”

$15,000? $6,500? $6,000?

Custom or kit?  This looks like several different ideas poorly melded into one.  The front has some vague Cobra/Ace resemblence, but the mid section looks more like an early MG.

As we stated, the middle looks more like a 30s design.  This could possibly be part of one of the very common MG replicas, but without the hood/bonnet vents.  Either way, it looks like it’s barely held together.  What the seller doesn’t realize here is how much work it would likely take to turn this into a working vehicle.

Rear end might also be from an MG replica, but with some custom curves added.  Ridiculously long exhaust pipes and giant remains of a bumper bracket indicate this had a lot going on in the rear!  Probably, it had a continental kit at one time.

Dash is very simple and lacks the curved look of an MG.  We assume the gauge pod was taken from some other car, but we don’t know which.  The steering wheels seems vaguely familiar, but we can’t place it.

This looks like a Ford Windsor, based on dizzy location and valve covers.
