This was in the watch list long enough to end, but it worth sharing. Here we have a Fuego Turbo manual with 50K miles. This is basically the Holy Grail of Fuegos (which is saying so much!), and gives us a new idea of how high the prices can go. Keep in mind this car isn’t perfect, per the ad. Of course, Shitbox Market Letter called the upward trend on these in 1996…

Ad text:
This car is original 1983 Renault Fuego Turbo, this car was stored in a garage in Florida for the past 20+ years due to poor health of the owner. Documentation/service records etc to the late 80s include originally window sticker ($13,224.00), owner manual, service book etc. The car was trailered to Indiana and made ready to run, i.e. fuel system, motor oil, plugs, wires etc, brakes, even new wheels/tires, original are also included. My situation has changed where I can no longer care for or have need for this rare auto. Overall condition is very good-very little to do for a every day driver. To show the car, minor body repair, paint/leather repair to driver seat and over all reconditioning.
Call or email with any questions.
To my knowledge, this is the only 1983 Renault Fuego for sale in the USA.
