Toyota Starlets are so small and so RWD that it seems all have received injections of serious horsepower and none are true to their shitbox roots. Here’s one with Nissan power.
Based on the S14 reference, engine photo and claimed dyno results, this is an SR20DET swap. We like ads that claim “the car is too fast.” Given what this car weighs, we believe it, but we applaud the stock exterior appearance. This screams for some stock-looking, wide steel wheels to keep it stealth but hide bigger brakes and mount wider tires. This isn’t cheap, but it might be worth it if the work was done well. We LOVE the Starlet script on the Nissan engine!
