Subtle and classy? 1990 Beretta Indy

Your humble host once knew someone who had a car just like this.  Her father was a Chevy dealer, so she at least had an excuse.  In truth, this car seemed to make sense in 1990 and to high school students; but it’s hard to imagine this being much of a collector’s item, at least until us Gen Xers and a few early Gen Y types start to long for the almost-forgetten color known as teal.  Maybe it’ll happen?

Anywho, this is – sadly – an automatic car, but appears to be in really good shape.

Pink graphics are an interesting touch.  Would any man drive this?

Teal wheel accents rock!

Interior included more teal and some funky “Indy” logos.

We haven’t seen a Beretta interior in years, and we love the ‘long vent’ look. Is it just us, or is the dash a little wavy.  GM quality or 20+ years of sun?

Here’s the LEGENDAY 3.1L V6.  Okay, it was ubiquitous, but not so exciting.  It’s too bad Chevy and Pontiac didn’t share some expense and bring the turbocharged version to market in more than the Grand Prix.  Maybe it wouldn’t have been so expensive??

and performs just as you would expect it to. Engine compartment is clean and free of any leaks.

Automatic transmission shifts very smooth, does not kick, slip, no skip.

Drives straight, accelerates without any hesitation. 

All electric options are in great working condition, including but not limited to: radio, power windows, power locks, cruise control, and A/C, blows ice cold.

Tires were balanced, rotated, and still have planty of tread left.

I test-drove the vehicle and found to be in GREAT CONDITION for its year and miles.
