We love the Datsun 1200 – tiny, light and fun to drive in its own way, even with the rather wimpy stock engine. This one has some tasteful upgrades that generally preserve its classic looks. The only thing better would be a fastback of similar quality.

$2,550 with 4 bids and reserve not met
07/15/2013 update: Has ended without reserve met a couple times. Latest was at $4,550 with 9 bids. Should that have been enough?
Seems to be in great shape. We’d probably delete the stripes if this arrived in our stable.
We’re not sure what makes a GX, in this case. On B210, that meant hatchback.
Interior appears to be in fantastic shape with just a few minor updates.
Tidy under the hood and the mechanical upgrades listed by the seller sound spot-on.
Data plate is intact and one can hope the output is now a little better than 68 HP gross…
