Neighborhood sightings from July 19, 2013
Finally, the GTX was out and uncovered. It’s a ’71, as this was the only year in this body. The 440 has the cool “air grabber” hood. This gem is around pretty often, always with its borderline gaudy V12 badges. It’s interesting to think how expensive this once was…

Random sightings Volume 2,345
There’s been no Oddimotive presence at CNC lately, but there have been some interesting sightings out and about… 1) At the condos across the street from HQ, we saw the first ever (?) Kia RondTow. 2) This van was captured from a distance, but has a high creepy factor, despite surprisingly good paint. 3) Two…

Irvine Cars and Coffee: June 8, 2013
June Gloom didn’t keep the interesting stuff away today… This custom jobby was interesting…not sure what parts of what cars are under there. The fiberglass work left something to be desired – from a distance, the bubbles looked like hail damage (interesting concept for fiberglass!). We’ll let readers decide what car this once was. It…

Irvine Cars and Coffee sightings: May 11, 2013
Not sure what was up with this interestingly-bodied MG, but the color combo rules. That’s no Biturbo… It’s a Maserati Shamal, not originally imported to the US. Tasty tan Porsche. Nice to see an E34 M5 with the weird original wheel covers. They look more like whitewalls from other angles. Avantis are always welcome here.…

Irvine Cars and Coffee sightings (April 6, 2013)
There was some pretty good stuff this week – click for images. How often do you see a Mazda 616? This is an Austin America interior…excellent plaid covers (presumably not original). Vehicross! Does it get more odd? A coupe older RWD Toyotas (Corolla and Cressida). Note sure what’s up with the air dam on the…

Sighting: WTF?
We spotted this while walking the mascot near Oddimotive world HQ this morning.

Irvine Cars and Coffee sightings (3/23/2013)
Squareback – was owner’s first car and he managed to keep it. So rare to see one stock and in good shape. Nice guy, too. Amazon wagon! Jag XJ6 with 502 V8 in it Nice brownness… A legendary race car, but also a Lancia and thus odd.

Sighting: Mid-engine, supercharged minivan
Does anyone else get ever-so-vaguely excited at the S/C badge?

Sighting: Murano Cross Cabriolet (Nissan regional employee?)
It’s rare to see these outside Nashville. Was an Irvine regional employee visiting South Coast Plaza? Closer inspection reveals a CarMax front plate. Could be a genuine retail unit and a second owner!?
