Take your pick: Euro cabriolets with fixed roof parts

Like partial convertibles?  Well, this is your lucky day!

Car #1:  We mentioned the XJS Cabriolet (XJS-C) when we recently posted a US market XJS manual, and this one just came along.  This one is a grey market manual and a very rare beast Stateside.

Car #2:  On the same day, we found this E30 Baur Targa.  Before the E30 325i Convertible (usually called 325ic) came along, there was this beast, which started on the 2002 and continued through the E30.

$17,500 BIN with offers accepted
07/28/2013 update:  Ended, but was BIN, so not sure whether it sold. We’ll keep an eye out for a relist.

No signature flying buttresses here.  Unfortunately, the owner provided no pics with the top “down.”‘

Clutch pedal is clearly visible…good news.

$200 with one bid and reserve not met
07/28/2013 update:  SOLD for $5,500 with thirteen bids.

Top “down.”

Despite a few embellishments, this is pretty much a tasty E30 interior.  Note only two window switches, vs. the four in a later 325ic.

This is an extremely Rare 1985 Jaguar XJSC. It is a European model that meets all US requirements. This car and 24 others where sent to the United States by Jaguar to test the market response to a 6 Cylinder version of the XJS coupe all previously fitted with the 5.3 V12. Of the 25 examples, very few where the new Cabriolet model. A fore runner to the Convertible. This example is all original inside and out. It has a 3.6 Liter inline 6, mated to a 5 speed manual getrag transmission. The car performs like new with less than 30K original. This is a must see and drive, you will be impressed.
