These two came up on the same day, so we’ll post them as something of a theme.
Car #1 is a Datsun 520 pickup modified to the point we’re not sure how much is really Datsun/Nissan. Note the domestic V8 in addition to four-wheel steering…what more can we say?

“Slewfoot”. 1971 Datsun Pick-Up Monster Truck One-Of-A-Kind! This truck was custom built for show in 1980’s. Chevy 327 turbo 400 transmission. 205 transfer case. Four Wheel Steer. The truck measures 36″ from the ground to the bottom of the door. Hydraulic rear steer with controls on driver door panel. Hydraulic dump box with mural and stainless steel fender wells. Also has brackets to bolt down bed when driving. 4 wheel disc brakes with front and rear Warn lock-out hubs. Frame is, I believe, a Blazer frame which has been modified to accept this body. Extra cross members on frame for bracing. All mounting brackets, I believe, were custom made & welded. Frame is painted and pin striped but could use a touch up. Drive shafts have cages. Transmission and transfer case have chrome covers. It has triple shock front end. Dual shock rear end. Stainless steel gas tank. Has a new Aluminum radiator with stainless steel reservoir. Radiator has electric fan. Transmission has separate radiator and electric fan. Has separate hydraulic pump for bed and rear steer. Has B & M shifter. Has Gateway gumbo monster mudders. 15/38.5/15LT tire size. Tires have some cracking but tread is good. Aluminum turbo wheels. Has custom bumpers. Front bumper has winch. Has 1968 Camaro tail lights. Has a 3″ triple tube roll bar with five 5″ Wagner driving lights. It has hydraulic air parking brake like a bus. Chrome Pinto hitch & oversized tow hooks. The roof comes off to make it a convertible. The mounting brackets for the roof may need some attention/repair. Door window glass has cracks & should be replaced. Has an air horn but don’t know if it functions. I don’t know what some of the wiring is for and what some of the switches are for or how they work. Steering has a lock bolt to hold rear end in place when driving on roads for safety. All lights work. Brakes work. Steering is very tight and quick. I think it’s a custom steering box because it has a really tight ratio. Was test driven by 4 wheel magazine. Truck was used at shows and fairs. This truck needs to be brought back to it’s former, excellent condition! Please ask questions before bidding. Thanks. PICK UP ONLY
