The Mercury was the stablemate to the Ford Fairlane at one time. We don’t see these often, much less with a clutch pedal. This one is intriguing with its built 302, 4-speed manual and cool color combo.
The owner rightly points out that factory 4-speed cars are rare, but the engine swap (the 302 launched for the 1968 model year) could bring the value down in our minds. Still, if it’s truly rust free and well sorted, it’s a good amount of car for less than any new car.

Cragar SS wheels look cool on this one, though we wonder what it came with originally (presumably steelies with hubcaps of some sort).
WTF happened to the seat?
There it is! Bench with 4-speed is pretty cool.
Despite the seller indicating the engine is incorrect, this looks original enough with gold paint. Just ignore the MSD box, etc.
