Not too long ago, we featured a hot rod made by partially dismantling a 1986 Corvette. Today’s feature is similar, but started with a 1994 Dodge Viper and ended with custom fiberglass bodywork.
The seller points out that this is not a kit car, but features hand-laid fiberglass over a 1994 Viper chassis and interior. The engine is rumored to be built for 540 horsepower, but no dyno info is included. Apparently, over $85K was invested to get to this point and the seller’s buy-it-now (BIN) price reflects an effort to recoup about 70%. What’s this worth to you? The indicated salvage title indicates this might not have involved a whim and a perfectly good Viper.

$20,000 with ZERO bids, reserve not met, $59,500 BIN price and two days to go
The buyer may want to consider fenders of some sort, as this is sure to send small pebbles flying in all directions.
Interior appears to be essentially stock, save for color. Viper experts may disagree (?).
Engine is exposed at all times – not a terrible thing.
Here’s an in-progress shot. Several more are included in the eBay listing.
