Worst Karmann Ghia convertible ever?

We like Karmann Ghias.  They have such clean lines for such an affordable car, and the simple mechanicals make them that much more attractive at weekend toys.  So, we find this particularly offensive.

Lovely original lines are completely ruined by the Escalade side vents and 911 head lamps.

Lights are even worse from this angle.

At least the rear view doesn’t introduce any more offensive elements.

On what planet is this attractive?  I know there are plenty of brand whores interested in wearing and carrying around logos, but do they shop Karmann Ghias?

We had to include this image, just to show how horribly done this car is. How many more patterns, colors and textures could possibly  come together in one small corner?
