Any US market, 1980s Renault was probably a fire risk on some level. Why, then, would they name a car the Fuego? This isn’t our first Fuego Turbo, but it’s our first project car.
So, this was rumored to run fine but now has some sort of ignition or fuel injection problem. Combine those two and you may very well have a fuego risk.

Fancy script on the model badge is a nice touch.
This lacks the groovy, patterned leather seats. Really, this interior isn’t bad at all.

This Renault had the engine replaced with the turbo model. The brakes were refitted with Toyota brakes. It has four bolt wheels, the turbo works fine, the engine was running fine but now there is a fault with the injection system, the distributor is not sending a signal for the injection system. I bought the car from a friend to tinker with but I don’t have the time any more. Thanks
